Just thinking of Michael Chiarello makes me nash my teeth. Ever notice he has the lady from Bare Escentuals on his show as a dinner guest all the time? All. The. Time.
That's hilarious! I DID get here searching "Michael Chiarello is an asshole". Do you bombard your guests with information about how you prepared their meals so that they are obliged to grin and nod at your command...with their mouths over flowing with sauce as you laugh? I don't.
What about Ina? Did I really have to see this friend of hers drive to the hardware store in his rustic old Jeep to get charcoal. It was very magnanimous that they showed him get Kingston Charcoal and pay with a twenty. How tacky is that?

Do people leave comments on this site on how much an idiot famous chefs are? I came here after I searched "Is Michael Chiarello an asshole?" online because of his appearance on Top Chef Masters, but I don't understand how Ina Garten is an "insecure snob" just because her friend drove to the hardware store and paid for charcoal with a twenty. That's tacky? Please..
