No Really, That's All Right, You Don't Have To, Honest, We're Good

More gratitious celebrity appearances, bands that used to be cool like a few years ago and the show running on the fumes off the fumes

I'm shocked

An adult-oriented comedy cartoon can be among the most subversive, innovative, and shockingly funny television there is. I'm a total pig for it. I'll try watching anything Adult Swim throws at me, from Space Ghost Coast To Coast to Metalocalypse. Having said that, it's not just that The Simpsons is exhausted . . . Futurama ain't exactly a knee-slapper, either.

In other words, Matt Groening is the Sting of the cartoon world.

Dude, you're on a roll today. Wanna guest-blog for me this week?

Oh my god. First Ani, and now the Simpsons. What's next, Nick Cage? (Please not Nick. I know he's done a lot of crap lately, but keep thinking "Raising Arizona" and "Birdie" and "Moonstruck" and "Wild at Heart." Brilliant I tell ya!)

Yeah, it kinda sucks lately, doesn't it? Like, for years?

Hm. My wordpic is "svmyjnut."

That sounds like a good swear word. If only I could figure out how to pronounce it.

Fie. I'd rather watch a weak Simpsons episode than the best episode of Desparate Housewives...

(Also, I don't have cable, so taking away the Simpsons would just about cut me off from animation. You wouldn't want that, would you?)
